Joy on Monday is a weekly gathering for the senior members of our community. They have so much fun that all ages are truly welcome. The group meets at 10:00am each Monday. They enjoy a variety of games and crafts, light exercise, singing and bible study, followed by a meal. The Joy group also takes fields trips to various community destinations and visits shut-ins.

The United Methodist Men meet the fourth Sunday of the month at 7:45 a.m.
United Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall. We have a business meeting, light refreshments and a program. All women are invited to join us!

GUMC Knee Mail Ministry
Gethsemane UMC would like for you to know that we are praying for you and our community. Drop your prayer requests in our “prayer knee mail” box located in our paved driveway. Our prayer team will meet in our Sanctuary the third Thursday of the month from 1:00 -2:00. We will pray specifically for each request received and for our community in general. You are welcome to join us for prayer or meditation during this time.
We also have an emailed prayer chain ministry. If you have a prayer need you can contact the church office or send an email to dsg323@bellsouth.net and we will send your request to our prayer warriors. Prayer is a powerful tool and a wonderful way to connect with fellow Christians. God listens and God answers.
