Counseling services are now conveniently available to the residents of Northern Guilford and Southern Rockingham counties.
Gethsemane UMC and Chrysalis Counseling and Consultation Center have teamed together to create a counseling office located at Gethsemane UMC.
Chrysalis Counseling and Consultation Center is a non-profit, fee-based pastoral counseling and consultation center with 29 years of caring for individuals, couples and families. The main office is located near Wesley Long Community Hospital, with another satellite office in Lexington, NC.
The new Chrysalis Counseling and Consultation Center at GUMC offers mental health services for individuals, couples, and families. The office at GUMC also includes a therapeutic playroom to provide counseling services appropriate for young children who are experiencing difficulty adjusting to changes in their lives.
